Newquay International Airport England

Formerly a shared site with RAF St Mawgan whereby the RAF provided airport services and the local council supported the terminal facilities; the project involved the closure and removal of all military equipment and the conversion of the site to a solely civil airport.

The atg installation team were faced with many significant challenges during the course of the work, none of which prevented the project from being completed on time and on budget. The provision and installation of a new pit & duct system will aid fault finding on the new AGL circuit whilst also housing the fibre optic communications cable for the new navigational aids and Sonnis control system which was designed, manufactured, installed and tested as part of the project. atg airports also supplied and replaced luminaires for the entire airfield, including ground transformers and replacement masts for both the CAT I and CAT III approaches.

The latest Micro 100 Constant Current Regulators were also supplied and installed into the newly erected substations along with new standby generators and LV power supplies.
