Health and Safety

It is recognised that the employees of atg airports are the most valuable asset of the business and that the provision of a safe and healthy working environment is integral to the success of the company.

It is therefore essential to ensure the highest possible level of health and safety for its employees. To achieve this, atg airports is committed to continual improvement in health and safety performance. This commitment includes the provision of sufficient resources, management and employee time, training and health and safety advisory support.

We also recognise that Health and Safety can only be effectively controlled through full co-operation throughout the organisation.

This is achieved by maximising the contributions of individuals as a key source, through training programmes designed to encourage all employees to promote the development of a positive Health and Safety culture.

Our Health and Safety Policy responsibilities are reviewed at least annually or more frequently where there have been significant changes to the company or the nature of the company’s activities.

Membership to Constructionline, Builders Profile and Safecontractor helps demonstrate our approach to health & safety by having in place key building blocks that help support our objectives for health & safety. Project site audit surveillance is also conducted for all our project works to ensure the safety message is delivered and understood.

Safety audits, toolbox talks and daily site project briefings help us to establish best practice when it comes to safety and safe working practices.
