Cable Termination panels (CTP) are designed for the termination of an external HV series loop circuit cables at the AGL Substation. Through the use of the series (S1) cutout switch, the unit provides facilities for the connection of external circuits to the source of supply, or the isolating and earthing the field circuits, or provision of short circuit to the CCR for testing purposes. This modular control system unit has the facility also to monitor and display the current in the individual series circuits.
