The candidate will be joining an established team of managers and supervisors working in a well established Airfield Lighting business and should be prepared for challenges in managing Contracts and resources. While previous experience in the airfield lighting industry would be beneficial we are looking for candidates who have basic electrical knowledge and ideally from the electrical or construction background. The individual who would report to senior management should be capable of personally managing contracts through from pricing to completion and be capable of proactive planning, monitoring progress against programme, cost management, resource management, extracting efficiencies etc. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing several Contracts simultaneously with the ability to control and guide site supervisors, buyers, etc from a distance where necessary. Naturally cost management, quality, safety, customer focus are all important attributes and we would also look for excellent ability in QS and commercial skills.
ATG Airports continue to experience considerable growth year on year so it would be reasonable to assume there will be excellent opportunity for a skilled and well motivated individual to benefit from many opportunities for advancement within the team.
While the majority of our turnover is within the British Isles we do from time to time have international contracts and the candidate will be expected to travel internationally, to tender and manage teams on international projects. Ideally candidates should be located near to our head office near Warrington office but this is not essential, to be prepared to work away from home, to work shifts, and some nights on various project locations.
Based at our main headquarters you will be part of the Project Management team, acting as a Project Manager working on all aspects of managing projects.
Delivery of assigned projects within agreed schedule and budget in accordance with our standards and regulatory requirements in a safe, clean and secure manner.
To ensure application of the Company's Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards.
To deliver, to the Business unit Manager, individual projects /packages and associated deliverables to meet safety, quality, programme and cost objectives, driving implementation of the project strategy and the use of the defined project management arrangements within the ATG Integrated Management System.
Deliver accurate and timely performance reports and planning information to the business unit Manager.
