The course looks in depth at the lighting patterns specifi ed in
both CAP 168 and ICAO for approach and runways. It examines
the practicalities of carrying out their requirements and discusses
where the designer is allowed to form their own judgement.
A working knowledge of airfi eld lighting equipment or completion of our Module 1 course would be an advantage.
The purpose of the course is to provide delegates with a forum to study and practice worked examples in the design requirements of AGL and PAPI location.
