Product Details & Technical Spec
The course is operated under the control of Defence Estates. It
comprises classroom lecture session and practical fault finding.
There are also evening exercises and an end test. Delegates are
expected to achieve an overall pass mark of 75% in order to pass the course.
Prior to the undertaking “Servicing and Repairs” site personnel
must attend and satisfactory complete the MCS New Trainee
Course. This will cover basic MCS design, operation and
maintenance and provide a general aspect of AGL to give a
background to the MCS.
The purpose of the course is to provide a basic introduction to the lighting control system used on military airfields, explaining its operation and the principals involved in order to understand and use the system drawings.
